Why is the trial the whole tutor?
Because a tutor that teaches worse to the families who haven't paid yet isn't one we'd want to build. The trial and Learner get the same tutor, teaching the same way. Paying keeps it going for the child who has found their rhythm with it, and it funds the work — sustainably, with no advertiser in the room.

Can we try it first?
Every account starts with a 14-day trial, with no card: the whole tutor, photos of homework included, for GCSE and A-level subjects on AQA, Edexcel and OCR. After it, the tutor carries on once you choose Learner.
What happens when the trial ends?
The tutor stops until you choose Learner. There is no card on file, so nothing is charged, and their conversations and progress all stay, ready for when they carry on.
What do I get for paying?
The same tutor, kept going. Learner gives room for a full school week and more photos than the trial. Nothing about how the tutor teaches differs from the trial.
What happens at the weekly allowance?
The tutor says so, tells them it comes back on Monday, and pauses until then. Nothing is lost.
Can the price or the allowance change?
Yes, as we learn how students use it, and only in the open. A larger allowance can reach your plan from the following Monday. A price rise or a smaller allowance reaches it only at a renewal, after we have emailed you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before then at no cost. A trial that has started is never reduced. The details are in our terms.
Monthly or yearly?
Same plan, same tutor. Monthly is £24.99 a month, for a family who'd rather not commit to a year. Yearly is £249.99, about £20.83 a month and 17% less than paying monthly.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, from Settings, in a few taps. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for and doesn't renew. Then the tutor stops, and your child keeps everything.
What happens to my child's data?
The same on the trial and on Learner: we never sell it or use it for advertising. See ourprivacy policy.
